So I just received mine today. Here is my initial report:

- The finish is good, doesn't seem flaky at all. Its been done pretty well, so i'm happy with that.
- My Radian ambi charging handle and PWS bolt carry fit in the upper
- The notch for the charging handle latch is present which is also good

However there are some issues with the trigger pack. The selector switch hole is slightly off alignment from the ones on the receiver itself, but its an easy fix. Next thing i need to test, is the bolt catch pin. Hopefully i won't have too many issues there.

Just to confirm, this is the one from the other AB retailer, not TNA?

thanks

Well if retailers are shipping out sets that look like that without disclosing it in the product description and for full retail price, they can expect to receive them right back with a refund request.
As I said I'll know soon enough.

Youza.

There are also fit-up issues and mag compatibility issues with the early examples. Might be more reasons to ship it back beyond finish.

That said, reports from the latest shipments are that fit up seems to have improved and these issues seem to have been resolved.

Received today from other retailer.
Set # in the upper 300s, type two class three hard anodized.
the finish is excellent, no issues with it.

Youza.

Mine arrived today. It's an early one (4xx serial). The anodizing is acceptable but not perfect. I would say the finish is on-par with a Norinco. I don't think it's worth getting it cerakoted. It'll look fine once it's all together.

So wait. Early ones have higher serial numbers? No sure I get it...

Isn't 4xx early? How many were in the first run?

Sorry, got all confused.

Mine is in the mid 300s, and the finish has pretty much zero issues. So when you said you had a 4xx one that had issues, I thought that it was indicative that yours had the earlier, ####tier finish before it got resolved, and that mine was part of the later good batch, so I wasnt understanding the whole thing.

Brainfart.

All good. I guess I should clarify it's not terrible. Like I would probably give it like an 8 out of 10. It's not the same quality of finish you're going to find on a large-scale manufacturer like Colt or Bushmaster. It's more than acceptable. After reading about the problems with the early numbers I was expecting the worst.

I guess you have never owned a Colt or Bushmaster because their latest offerings would score a 5-6 if your lucky.
