It has to do with aluminum. Even though it’s probably coming from a Canadian source the price would’ve jumped quite quickly when the tariffs were imposed. Waiting for the free trade stuff would mean the price comes down again. Seeing as how he’s trying to make receivers he’s already sold he won’t be able to make up the difference in raw material. The problem is lots of you have been waiting months and it’s not fair that he halts production cause he won’t make as much per unit.
How many people have received theirs so far? Haven’t seen a whole lot of people. Maybe less than 10, and even fewer YouTube videos from actual owners. Where is TNA on the pre order list?
I got a Maple Ridge 18.6"barrel with a mid-length gas system and I'm planning to shoot heavier bullets from my build, and I saw a lot of people complaining about it saying that it should be rifle-length, too much gas...yadda yadda...
Should I use an adjustable gas block? Or never mind, move on and install a regular gas block on it?
I agree his profitability will suffer but he's also several months behind and should just eat the loss.

Assuming he has the maple ridge barrel, their instructions are as follows:
Clean the bore thoroughly before firing for the first time.
Fire 5 rounds, then clean the bore.
Repeat step #2 three more times.
Check that the gas block is still securely fastened.
Inspect the bolt for signs of wear.
Check that your handguard is still nice and tight

Which maple ridge barrel is that for? When I asked them about break in they told me it’s ready to rock out of the box and that I only need to check headspacing during assembly
