Maccabee Defense SLR Parts Buyer's Guide

a standard mil spec pin “without” the c clip is used.

Bloody hell... The number of undocumented quirks this thing has... You'd think they could have at least shipped a brochure or something highlighting the differences from a standard AR build.

Not to belittle any buyer but this is not a mil spec AR which is the reason behind the NR status. Most of the problems reported don’t have anything to do with MDI but the builders.

Easy to build, don't know what the big deal is...take the c-clip pff, hammer the pins in. Done.

You mean holes that are too small to accept their roll pins, and safety selector holes that don't line up? Yeah, definitely a problem with the builder. *eyeroll*

Somone build me non restricted slr in .223 wyld... Too many options and I am simple. Wish the site had build option.. You would have my money now..

Can you guys tell me some weights of your full rifles

Anybody with a medium profile barrel build, and a penciled barrel build, I'd just like an idea of what the full rifle might weigh with average parts and a lightweight handguard and stock

Please pm me your weights and barrel specs etc

Thanks

FWIW most PDW stocks will NOT fit the MDI SLR, because the receiver is slightly too wide for most stock dual slides. The only PDW stock that fits is the Falkor Defense Optimus, because it uses a single slide behind the receiver.
