Got motivated by Jerry's build so after weeks of pondering I went ahead and bit the bullet.....308win with 16" barrel...can't wait to get it on the range

Looks great.
Can I ask what she weighs?
near identical to what I have planned with the parts I have on hand though I'll go with a lighter optic in a 2-7x32 in the same mount.

With the scope, it weighs in at 10.4lbs...its heavy compared to my renegade build in 5.56 with 16" barrel which weighs in at 7 lbs. with optics.

Had a chance to do a short range trip...looks promising...need to develop load to find its true potential.

Initial shots to zero scope @ 100yrds (168G SMK 42.5g Varget CCI BR primer). Didn't have enough time to fine tune
