LOTS of irony here as the SLR is banned in the USA just as our NR semi autos are.

Most NON US made semi autos, especially anything that in any way resembles an AR platform is deemed a "weapon of war" hence non importable into the USA on a permanent basis.
Reading between the lines I see it as protectionism.

Ended up with an ATRS receiver set instead of an SLR, but did exactly as you suggested



Now I just have to take it out and get it dirty, like yours!

In a world of a zillion tacticool guns, don't be that guy who has just another one of 'em

I used Irunguns to get the rifle kit into the country. Shipping and price was excellent. Personally, I liked the fixed front sight and it performs well on the distances I used it for. I have no need for fancy free floating handguards.

Research SLR triggers in case you wanna have a super smooth trigger. But the one I got in my kit is decent.

Get some 10rd MFT mags and buy the mag extension from GS designs, makes it look and feel like a PMAG. Love 'em.
