They are waterproof and for anybody who was wondering, they are also guacamole-resistant.

** but the SLR receiver itself is terrible for making guacamole, magwell gets clogged

The receiver set comes with a paper printout. You could scan that in as a PDF. Or just photocopy it a million times so you have lots of extras.

FYI - my form 6NIA was APPROVED with my SLR simply showing 'MACCABEE DEFENCE - CANADA'. I was little worried they might not know what it was, but approved in the end.
