I'm thinking about buying a GRT Tune Kit for my Diana 34 in .22 cal. Would somebody know exactly what difference does this kit make in velocity compared to the factory spring? Will it change the pellet speed at all? If so, by + or - how much?

Too many variables.

Effectively, you are asking "How long is a piece of string?".

How tired is your spring? What are its current velocity numbers like? Does it shoot well, or not?

If you are replacing a tired spring/ worn seal combo, you may see a fairly significant improvement in the velocity. If you have a gun that is in decent shape, internally, you may not see any increase.

Start by reading up on what changes what, internally. A close fitted spring guide, and decent lubricants will make a huge difference in the smoothness of the firing cycle. DAGS for "Lube Tune Springer" First result is a good one to read through (springgunning.com/tune.html)

Most of Maccarri's springs claim a modest increase in power, and a great improvement in smoothness. I've used a few guns with them, and been pretty happy. Mostly, make sure that all the parts are working correctly, spring, guide, lubes, seal, chamber, etc.

As stated above most Macarri kits are for smoothness not power.Power means nothing without accuracy. It's a PI$$ off that you need to sink another $100 into an already expensive German gun that should never have left the factory. My son has the same gun and it is so harsh that the stock screws loosen every 10 shots or so.Many RWS/Diana guns are shipped with pre-damaged seals and roughly machined pistons. No such problem with Wiehrauch.A lot of people #####ing about the RWS .Barrel droop is so severe that the open sights fall off before adjustments can be made to be on target.Solution is to bend the barrel upwards with a homemade rig.Which brings us back to lack of QC.....Harold

Well, I'm not really looking for more power, I just want to make sure that I wouldn't loose some. :)
My rifle is basically brand new with less than 100 rounds through it and it's all stock.

It usually takes a couple thousand pellets to smooth a new gun out.Others need a more hands on approach.I use mine for hunting .Grouse, crows, magpies and gophers....Harold********I found Crosman pellets very inconsistant in size and damage so there was no accuracy. They became whitefish jigs after I melted them down.....
