Okay, I need some machining help here....
I cannot get myself to spend $ 60 USD landed for an EGW (Evolution Gun Works) tactical picatinny base for my Rem M7615P Pump .223 rifle. So I bought a Weaver ONE piece base # 93. That's where I discovered that the short 2 x 6 x 32mm scope tube is too short to fit on the ONLY 2 slots machined into this aluminum base. I would like to have a bunch more slots machined along the base.
Anybody out there skilled enough to do this for me? Any hobby machinists out there? Here's the rub.... this base only costs $ 8.00 from Wholesale Sports, so I don't worry too much.
Suggestions ? Hey, I can even trade M14 tweaks for this machine work...
Cheers all,
Barney
