I would appreciate input from anybody, positive or negative.

Anyone who has negative input better post pics of something they buit that looks better than this because I want to see it!

That is a ______________ nice scope mount there. You can fill in the blank with the appropriate adjectives because the ones I would use would be blocked by CGN anyway.

i agree, very nice mount, excellent work. You have my mind running in circles hehehe and i'm having sudden urges to go buy some new tools :D. I think i'm gonna follow in yer footsteps :D :D .

Awesome job - another nudge here to go commercial with your products. Both this and the scout mount would be quite popular with Canadian M305 addicts. Put me on the customer list. ;)

3X. Dayummm if you arent talented. You should have tried out for that Junkyard Wars TV show when it was on. But anyways, I will definitely purchase one if you make more. Hopefully its not too labour or time intensive for you that it'll become an anoyance.

Great job!!! Like the other CGN members said if you made some and offered them for sale; they would sell. With all the hassles dealing with the U.S., there's a market for home grown parts. Anyway, I wonder what else will come out of your shop; keep up the good work.

ummmm do you take orders?
I am wanting a 12 inch long picatinny rail, just the rail, no holes, no flanges, and in the white. :D :D

Overwhelmed

Hello fellow CGN members

First, I have to say that the responce to the pictures of my attempt at a mount were totally unexpected.
What I expected to get were some suggestions on how to proceed with this mount as I went along.
I would like to thank all of you for the interest that you have shown in the m305 mount.
When I started this project all that I expected was to hopefully make a mount that was functional and cheap for my one and only m-305, my free time doesn't cost me anything and I have the tools and equipment at my disposal, so what the h_ll, it is worth a try.
I have discovered that there is apparently some interest in my mount.
I had assumed that all you m305 lovers out there already had ARMS, or Springfield mounts.
I have a full time job and I did this in my spare time, every thing was done on a mill with power feed only, I do not have access to a CNC mill.
Therefore if I was to charge for the hours that it took to make this mount it would no longer be affordable to customers.
However as this is a satisfying project for me I may have a few mounts made in the future.
I will not be mass producing this mount, however and will not be taking orders right now, although I really appreciate all of your interest.
This mount has not been tested and there may be some problems with it.
After I complete a couple of these mounts I will post them in the exchange forum, I will be looking for somebody to test the mounts so I will be looking for m305 owners who shoot a lot of ammo.
For those who decide to purchase one I will be wanting feedback on the mounts performance and possibly reccomendations for improvements.
They will be attractively priced in return for honest feedback and at any time can be returned for a full refund, excluding shipping costs of course.

I also have a couple of other ideas that I will be trying, one of which is a possible Scout Mount with different rail mount lengths.

I will post pictures if these ideas materialize.

Thanks again for all the interest.

PS. I hope that I have not broken any CGN rules with this reply
