Well, most of us have been there partner. But, the good news is, there are 3 things you can learn from this!

1) Chew Copenhagen & smoke Drum, life is always better with either in your pocket
2) Drink a whisky instead of beer (if you must drink beer, make it New Castle Brown or Guiness)
3) Never, under any circumstance, sell your firearms! Even if you have over indulged in the above two points!!

Hey, at least it's with a friend. Things sold to friends usually present an opportunity to come home after a while. Think of it as your gun moving out for a while. Like kids, they will eventually come back home

Lol your a smart man

1) Screw tobacco, life is always better without.
2) Drink a good whisky instead of beer (if you must drink beer, make it New Castle Brown or Guinness)

I don't see the big deal. Buy another exactly like it and trade it to your friend.
Then he will get a brand new gun and you will get yours back.
:)

I can understand your remorse as I still own my 92FS which I absolutely love. I have had a trigger job done on mine and target sights installed as well. Its really slick now on the range and so easy to score points with as well. They really are a nice gun to have. :)
