This is a Crypto build we did a couple weeks ago with the Hanson barrel, Aero S-Handguard and Black Cherry Cerakote.

Does anyone know if these barrels will work with an A2 style FSB gas block? I would like to install a drop in handguard along with it. I just don't know if the sloped/shoulderless profile at the gas journal allows for this? Maybe just a matter of widening the hole on a handguard endcap to slide down and stop at the FSB?

I am clueless so any guesses or insight is appreciated!

Pretty sure you need a government profile barrel for the fsb setup.

If you want an FSB set up, I would not recommend this barrel, we have a 20" Government with FSB already installed, it will be posted on our website by end of Tuesday.

Pretty sure you need a government profile barrel for the fsb setup.

Not so much the profile as the length of the gas block journal. You need an almost 2” long gas block journal of .750” for an A2 FSB. These Hansen’s, the gas block journal is shorter, only about an inch as most low profile gas blocks are shorter.
