We are back again. Go Riders Go

This time showing Madisons 2009 Muzzle loader Whitetail again harvested using a Traditions Pursuit Pro XLT, a Barnes TMZ Spitfire 245 grains, 100 grains of 777 pellets and a Bog Pod.

This is her first Whitetail Buck and 2nd ever harvested animal...

Last Sunday we were headed to a new hunting location, on the way there we spotted a 140 class Whitetail with a doe north and this buck with 3 does east of us.

We (mom, me and Madison the shooter) decided to make a stalk across VERY flat land we got to 290 yds on the big guy but his wary doe had us pinned, just then this guy gives us 2 grunts and starts heading our way 300 yds out.

I am hiding in the weeds...he crosses 135 yds, mom sneaks up closer to Madison, Madison asks her mom to "give her some room" and "Is this the same shot u had?" mom says "yes but keep focused through the scope, sweetie"...at 85 yds he heads north trying to get our wind...mom gives him the TV grunt "Bapppp" and he stops for 10 seconds...the rest is history...very exciting for us all and we think its wicked shot placement. Again not a monster but great opportunity to harvest an animal and be successful, building confidence for the future. Enjoy and thanks for your thoughts...
