Mag conversion for a M98???

Believe me, you don't want a detachable mag. Any kit out there is garbage, and you'd be giving up one of the best magazine systems ever devised for a junko stamped out detachable. The staggared mag on an M98 is a beautiful thing, dead reliable, sturdy, and trouble free. With a sporter floorplate, as the Globe likely has, you can dump the contents of the mag in 1 second too into your mitt. You'll notice most high quality bolt actions don't have detachable mags (I'm talking $3000 plus guns). Many cheap guns do, there's a reason for it.
Numrich sold some at one time, couple of other suppliers. They are not easy to find, and not very reliable. I would start with Numrich and see where that leads you. - dan
