Looking to see what your opinions are for mag springs.
I am putting a 2 shot extension on my 870 Express.
Pros and cons on certain brands?

I'm looking at getting the s&j spring and follower but seriously dont want to pay 17 dollars shipping on a 17 dollar product. Are they really worth it?

Yep, they’re worth it but I hear you on the shipping cost. I always find a few things to order at once from them to make the shipping price worth it.

If you're already looking at S&J, you can grab their +2 extension that COMES WITH the spring and follower

I added that thing to cart and a larger safety. I was all ready to slap down 37 bucks or so until I realized their shipping was going to cost me another 35 bucks. For that price I can go to a competitor and completely replace my extended magazine tube.

My go to gunsprings have always been Wolff Gunsprings.
You can order their extra power 870 mag springs from Brownell’s in singles or 5 pack. For one round extension you want the extended mag spring. For two round extension, 6 and 7 shot spring. They are made with excellent spring steel.
Do not resort to makeshift springs cut down from a longer spring. A proper spring will have both ends factory finished as opposed to one end being cut.
