Mag fed 8.5 grizzly

I just ordered one on-line. I am making the assumption it is non-restricted.

Very limited info on Canada Ammo website, but for $400...... a good zombie buy!

Does anyone have any info on this shotty??? The description is vague, no indication if it comes with (once again, I am assuming it does) a mag. I am also assuming it is 12ga.

I had a question about these, too. Are the fore ends the same standard size as 870s? They look very, very small. I get that 870 buttstocks are standardized and would fit, but I'd love some confirmation that 870 fore ends fit the 8.5"

From what I have been told they fore grips cannot be swapped unless modified. What needs to be modified, I don't know

Assuming it's similar to the non-mag version, you basically just have to cut it shorter. I did this with an aluminum railed one from Brownells. However you might have clearance issues with the mag, I don't have it in front of me to visualize that.

I know a lot of people love these!
But I picked up a 12" grizz mag a while ago and I have to say I'm more than dissapointed! Fte problems constantly! Polished everything lots of filing and tweaking and I though I got it to cycle well with snap caps! Take her out and now due to recoil the mag well half pops out on every round! I'm glad I got it for cheap!
Mabey I got a dud! But either way I would expect to do some polishing!!

Ok, just lost my load.... that is awesome!

Could a folding stock be used or would that make for classification issues??

It would cause issues only if it renders the firearm under the magical 26".

So whats the verdict, I am looking around online here and youtube, I am getting mixed messages. Some saying this is a POS some seem to be happy.

The fact it looks cool is not good enough for me, is it reliable?

That's the problem. It seems to be a coin flip whether or not you get a decent one. I had to completely de burr and smooth out my 8.5 because it wouldn't even feed right out of the box. I wasn't happy with it and replaced the bolt and trigger group with Wingmaster parts. It works great now, but I am in the process of converting a genuine Wingmaster and Dlask barrel to 8.5.
