Hey 69santa really like what youre doing with that Grizz. Should be perfect for opening doors and peaking around corners. Just need you gunsafe beside yer bed heh heh heh.
 
Mine showed up today!!!! It's a nice little shotty....... gave it a cleaning, seems to be of good quality. The mag's fit good. Havent shot it yet but will soon. I have loaded 2 mag's with 3" 00 buck, do these mag do ok with 3" rounds or are they more happy with 2 3/4"??
 
Dlask makes great 8.5 railed fore ends if you want to pay..

What do they want for one of those? With the long mag hanging down and the shortened barrel and slide area a vertical grip up front just seems like a no brainer for comfort and safety.

No, they dont. They WILL feed 3"'s but they tend to jam up alot if the rounds are ALL the way back in the mag (if they start out that way, they dont stay there when your cycling it). My 12inch feeds 2 3/4's like a champ. Its no where near as smooth as my Rem 870 but for the money it very much outperforms my expectations.

I have found, other than the stock mount bolt threads, all stocks are completely compatible. Forends may need fitting but they do on most guns. However, I did try to do a "remington mag fed" conversion and found the mag fed bolt is very different than the regular tube fed. My Remington 870 factory 18 barrel wont fit into the Grizzly receiver either, its too big around. Also, the bolt pattern on the tapped holes in the top of the receiver are not the same as a rem 870 so rails that bolt onto a remington will not fit on the grizz without mods. All side saddles seem to fit fine.
 
I'd be interested in hearing how you make out with it. I see them occasionally at IPSC shotgun matches...and have never seen one that ran properly (seem probe to jamming or failure to feed)

Still...pretty cool looking...enjoy

I ran 240 load shells and 20 turkey shells through my 8.5 with 5 different mags, in one outing and had only 1 fail to feed and 1 fail to eject.
 
Mine is suprisingly reliable as well, with the three mags I have for it. Feels like I am pumping a handful of sand but it cycles fine. Goes bang fine too.
