Mag fed Grizzly action bars

Hi everyone,

I've had a few mag fed grizzlies over the years and am looking at picking up another one for a project, but I don't recall if there's a compatibility issue with action bars from a tube fed model if I want to get creative in swapping things out.

Can someone please refresh my memory?

Anyone? I seem to recall the trigger group was unique to the mag fed but don't recall what else wasn't compatible with standard 870 parts.

The trigger group on the mag fed doesn’t have the shell lifter, you should be able to swap action bars from a tube fed grizzly or 870 into the mag fed grizzly.

As with all Norinco parts you may find things aren’t up to spec, for example my mag fed grizzly forend tube and action bars don’t completely fit in an 870 I have. They get tight and bind at the back of the receiver rails they ride in when trying to open the action fully, the 870 action bars fit in my mag fed grizzly though. You’re results may vary though.

Ping Innercity. He's wrecked, rebuilt, and wrecked again, more mag fed grizzlies than most people have owned shotguns. Pretty sure he has the entire schematics of the things memorized by now.
