Mag fix

Hello. I was wondering if there is a proper way to fix a magazine that’s opening up on a spot welded seam.
I suppose another spot weld is the only way but I thought I’d ask if anybody has come up with an alternative method. Thanks in advance

Thanks. I kind of figured there wouldn’t be a short cut or an easy way around it. Unfortunately it’s an obsolete mag for an AP 74 so l’ll have to come up with some plan

A welding shop should be able to TIG weld it or a reasonable cost.
