Mag. large pistol primers for .45

I cant find any large pistol primers near Montreal. Can I use magnum primers to reload .45?

I was told to download 1-10th of a grain of powder and it would be fine???

Just load down and work your way back up. I have used magnum primers in both large and small variety and had no ill effects. I ended up using the same load in the end. WInchester Large pistol I have now say they are good for both magnum and regular loads so thats what Ive been doing.

Yep, but you'll have to work up the load again.
