Mag Pouches and Cases?

So whats everyone using for mag pouches for the M14S 5/20 round mag.See lots on epay but they all seem to be double mag and not single. Now about cases I don't see my self spending the price of the rifle on a drag bag.I've been using a bass guitar case for my other rifles so maybe I'll stick to that.Low profile greyman sort of thing.
 
So,how many is a crapload? Just funnen with ya. Gotta a price yet and how long.I noticed Marstars has canadian FN double mag pouches pretty cheap.Wonder if they would work?
 
I have been grabbing them off *bay. 20.00 bucks shipped for the military camo style. he lists them at 15.99 and he has a few colours. U.S. made, double mag pouch with divider, good stuff
 
The old heavy canvas WWII style paratrooper musette bags work well and you can buy them at any army surplus store for between $5 and $10.

You can easily fit a dozen magazines.
 
you couldn't PAY me to use the old single pouch mag pouches- far too hard to extract and replace the mag- that's the reason we went to the double style- as for an up to date pouch, use either the us m16 30 round pouch and turn the mags sideways, after cutting out the dividers, or the best ones of the lot were the last issue canadian( pattern 82 or something) fn as these have a nifty little pull tab that brings the mag right up out of the pouch- but when buying for the m14, make sure you get ones that fit, as some are dimensionally smaller than others, due to the fact the fn doesn't have that tab on the back of the mag-maybe the new ones have addressed that issue
 
I have a bunch of the 82 pattern doubles with the pull tab. Work great. Now I hav a Wasatch. PM me if you want my 82's. I have enough for 10 mags I think
 
check the net---brand new fn double mag pouches(made of some heavy green rubber type material) $2.00 or less in the us. bought some and they are great. also good for carrying small "stuff" on the ski hill.
 
BAR LMG mag belts work well too. 6 double mag pouches on a belt that can use LC1 suspenders. Marstar is listing a re-production at $59.95. They list a CF C2 mag 'bra' at $24. Doesn't say which mag it's for though.
Plus an assortment of other LB kit too. Any pouch made for a .308/7.62 20 round mag will do.
 
i've been buying these ones, i now have a belt with 4 of em in the woodland camo version. excellent quality all the way.
