Mag tube sling mount?

Hello,

I have a .22 pump action rifle that I would like to put a sling on. I bought a mag tube sling mount that clamps onto the mag tube but I am wondering if it is solid enough to use? If anyone has done this I would like to hear how it went.

They work well from my experience.
The most solid location will be close to the barrel lug or any other area the tube is supported like a barrel band.
