Magazine Baseplates

For those that have not seen my threads and those that have .
I’m new to pistols ! I have a Sig Sauer P320 F. 9mm now and a CZ Shadow 2 9mm

What are magazine baseplates really for ?

1. extra capacity (not applicable here), 2. proper functioning with a magwell for competition or an extended target grip, or 3. just looks. sometime it can be all 3 at once

Some also add weight to the mag to ensure they drop freely.

most people buy them as a fashion accessory
the polymer base plates on your Sig and CZ mags are plenty tough
aftermarket baseplates are only required if you add a magwell
Sig 21rd and Sig Legion mags should work with magwell as is

re:upgrades - if you are new to pistols, find someone to teach you the proper basics
take the Black Badge course
run 1000-1500 rounds through each gun in the stock form (both are pretty good already)
then reassess wants and needs
