I just got off the phone with the CFP, one of their techs who I was talking to on another matter, and he told me that it is now law that all 10/22 mags, whether advertised to fit the Charger or not or made by Ruger or not must be pinned to 10 rounds. THAT IS ALL MAGAZINES THAT FIT ANY 10/22 OR VARIANT THEREOF (DAR22, RIA, etc.) THAT HOLD OVER 10 ROUNDS MUST BE PINNED TO 10 ROUNDS STARTING IMMEDIATELY!!!! I hope everybody is ready to fight this. To get a clarification for yourself phone the CFP @ 1-800-731-4000 then 1 and 1 again and then 1090 to get a tech and ask for yourself.

Now they need to show us that law...

They're coming at us from all angles, now. I expect more bans and restrictions. Piss us off, 'till it's not worth it anymore. That's their plan!

I wonder how many SA and 858 owners, got notice that they were now in possession of a prohibitted firearm?

I gave you the number, get it from the horse's mouth for yourself. Where was the Swiss arms stuff written out, I'm sure it's there, or not. The tech I talked to said they were just starting to get the word out but it is now the rules/law.

Didn't the government just take away their power to do such things?? Is this going to turn into another 715t "is the 25 round mag prohibits now" things?

No. The new regulation relates to reclassification of firearms.

There is no reason for this thread to continue on and on with speculation and indignation.
The OP gave the contact information. Call, get the person's name, and get the information emailed or in writing.

I would like to see this in writing. If anyone has this, please share. Still waiting for the CFO to give me the 715T "ruling" in writing...*cricket* *cricket*

So I just had a chat with a fellow at the CFP. He would not give his name nor would he tell me what bulletin he was talking about but he just told me to look at the bulletins... it's easy to find.

So after reading all of them that pertain to the public, I started reading the business ones. I believe what he is talking about is the Bulletin 72 in which the Ruger BX-25 is specifically named to be prohibited. No other Ruger 10/22 mags are mentioned in the bulletin.

I wasn't very impressed with the gentleman as he did not want to discuss this to get clarification in any way shape or form...

I apologize for not getting it myself but I was kind of in shock when he said this and it didn't even enter my mind to get it in an email or writing.

I asked wasn't that just the BX-25 and the person I spoke to, french accent, told me that it was all mags now, not just the BX-25.
