Ryan try and find a set of vice grips with the long flat jaws, they have work very well for me in the past, if you have no luck let me know and I'll hook ya up
Sheetmetal vice grips work great. Remember that the case tapers so the feed lips can be adjusted front/rear to change the feed angle slightly if need be.
If you happen to have access to an old chainsaw guide bar and a chop saw you can make about 10 of them in a heck of a hurry. They are even two sided; just in case you adjust so many magazines that you wear one side out. Or you can cut it crooked, so you have a wide side and a narrow side.
There is something so perfectly redneck about adjusting a magazine with a chainsaw that it is difficult to put a price on.
There might be snippets around from ppl posting their experiences but generally, no. In most cases we are trying to get a magazine that is an aftermarket copy of an original, to work in a rifle it was not designed for using a stock or bottom metal made by a third independent company to adapt the two together. Some fitting may be required. Each install requires a little tuning to get the feeding just right and sometimes that involves adjusting the feed lips. On my 700P this required bending the feed lips outward a small amount to get the rounds sitting a little higher so that the bolt can reliably feed them. I also bent the front out a little to tilt the rounds up for smoother feeding. Its a trial and error game.
