I have discovered how important a magazine is to the operation of my Norinco M305. The 5 round the gun came with is constantly causing feed and extraction problems, so it's going in the garbage. I bought 2 30 round mags, and one of them is causing issues as well. So, what is a quality brand and where do I buy it? 10 round is preferable.

I have 10 of the 10 rnd A1A enfield mags (wolverine has a discounted 5-pack offer).

They feed perfectly.

But 3 do not hold the bolt open on the last round. 2 work sparodically..... The other 5 are flawless.

The Marstar mags (5/20s) are Chinese and, of the 20ish I have, seem to work flawlessly. They have an extra long "fin" on the bottom of the follower, so there is no rivet to bind up or look ugly on the magazine.

I have no XP with the "check mate" mags a couple of site sponsors are selling.

I've had no problem with my 5/5 and 5/20 nork mags but they are older ones, not sure about the newer batch. Tier One Armoury in Edmonton has some of the IAI mags. I picked one up but have not tried it yet.

I always polish the inside of feed lips on every single mag I buy.600 grit with a bit of oil, they feed flawlessly and not shaving my brass.
