I had a mag like that for my 10-22 years ago. it fit into a bracket which was locked in place where the std 10 round rotary mag went into. i believe this type of mag was made for a number of 22s. I'm thinking the company may have been Eaton (not the bankrupt store), but not sure.
 
Looks to be one of the generic 30 round magazines which were adapted to a number of different .22 rifles. The Numrich .22 Thompson, the first PPS-50, etc. Brackets were installed on the magazine to suit the firearm.
This one looks as if it has been altered in the feed lip area.
No idea what specific firearm yours would fit.
