Well i just got my Remington 29 in the mail and theres a dent in the Magazine tube and i know brownells makes a tool i just don't know where to find one in Canada
im bummed to say the least and pissed this was so poorly packed when shipped!! i was really looking forward to running the old girl:(

If it is minor, a socket out the tool box may suffice. I have ground a flat and used a T-handle.

Grind them down, file them, or drill them out.

I've done the drifting out with appropriately sized sockets. It works too... now I just drill em... it's covered when re-assembled anyway!

Or $26.95 at Numrich Arms
h ttp://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/839750.htm

Too bad shipping will cost almost 2x the cost of the part from Numerich.

If you bought it new, send 'er back! If it's used, get the seller to compensate you for their crappy packaging job. Not your fault and certainly not your problem to deal with.

What a total pain in the but, i as the receiver cant start a claim and i'm having issues getting the seller to respond, the dent in the tube wont allow me to load shells and the thing is lose at the breakdown point because of that i feel its pointless to try to fix......not to sure what to do

Sorry for the triple post but after cooling down and taking some time i realized i reassembled it wrong after i tore it down to deal with the tube so i'm going to try to fix this and i think i can, im still bummed i even have to deal with this. I would still like to try the proper this is a nice shotgun and i would like to try my best options
