Magazines for DPMS AR 22 upper

Hi Folks, I have a dedicated DPMS .22 AR upper and having a bad time with mags. The ones I have are a metal insert in an ugly black plastic casing that do not work well. I have contacted DPMS and they have not been helpful.

Does anyone know of a replacement mag that might work and where they can be found?
