A friend has a remington700 the long action and he want some accuracy International mags
Used is perfect, bit I'm looking to source some for him, I know wolverine has emerged but the 10 rounders are 200 a piece to get to me, in the boonies
Just wondering what would be better the 5 or 10 rounders?

If you need to carry 5 rounds, then the 5 rounders are better. Same goes for the 10s.

I'd personally carry the 10s if I expected zombies. Maybe a few extra mags and a bayonet if I run out.

Haha, I'm just thinking less reloads, bit sadly only allowed 5 in Canada, if I can find cheap 10 rounders for he, I'll get them, if not the 5's

You wont ever need more than 5 shots in a sporting rifle and if you do, you are doing something very wrong. A 10 shot mag will add much weight to your rifle and put that big magazine right where you are going to want to carry the rifle in one hand.

I'd forget both magazines, save your $$ and stick with the factory BDL type.

That law does NOT apply to bolt action rifles, only semi autos..........I am quite comfortable with 3 or 4 in a hunting rifle, hell I'm comfortable hunting with a single shot for that matter.........as long as what I'm hunting doesn't bite back...........

I thought it was all limited because the accuracy International were for semis
If that's true I'd love to get a few for my 308 haha

I've got fives and tens. For me, if the tens weren't available I wouldn't have even bothered with the conversion, but there are times that a five is lots and slightly less ugly. I could get by with a single 5 and a handful of 10s.

Could you post a picture of your rifle with a 10 rounder? I'd like to see the height of it in the well
