Make the EE and Irunguns your friends. I suspect that distributors and retailers will be reluctant to bring in any new parts for handguns unless they are prepaid. They will not want to get stuck with inventory that will be hard, or impossible to sell. I tried importing some mags for a Ruger Mk IV from Britain..... CBSA seized them as being inadmissible. Did not return them to the seller, so I am out the $$$. Someone at CBSA probably got some new mags for their Mk IV or they were destroyed.
Yup, Dealers are trying to get what they can for handgun parts, but pickings are slim from distributors, We cleaned out just about everything since June, and what comes in now sells out instantly on the mag front, parts for popular guns you can count on to keep trickling in, uncommon ones not so much. There's more handguns in Canadian gun owner hands than ever before which means there is a big market for parts. Stores are stocking to the best of their abilities, it's not different than anything else right now.
