Maglula Benchloader

I could see this being good for ranges that do new shooter "demos" where a group of people come and pay to try out shooting different guns.

, I don't see the need for a magazine loader for an AR-15 with its 5 or 10 round magazines.

4 words:

Gloves, outdoor range, winter.

That's why I got mine, just couldn't load the damn things with gloves, would tear them up when I did.
With the lula, you just crank and plop, crank and plop.

How do you tear gloves up loading AR-15 magazines? I shoot my rifle during the winter, too. You just push the rounds in. It's not like loading rounds into the gate of a lever-action rifle or into a shotgun or something. I cannot get gloves to catch on the feeding lips of my AR-15 magazines.

Believe it or not, the Stripula is on the restricted list and can't be exported. I've never had a chance to try it, though (not sure if anyone carries it in Canada).

News to me... The place I ordered from is a MAJOR reloading company and I assume they are on the up and up when it comes to ITAR. What's your source on this?

Someone could try ordering one from Brownell's and see what they say. If it's not exportable, they'll tell you.

When did you last check into this? Maybe something changed.

BTW given they're made in Israel, even if the US is restricting export, you can source them from an Israeli dealer. Took me about two seconds to find a place via Google. Might not be as cost effective but definitely no ITAR issues.

with the 50 BW I cant reload ammo as quickly as I can shoot it! Maybe I should have got something bigger than the 550!
