Got one of these magazine loaders in the mail today. What a slick rig! Nobody around here had one in stock so I ended up buying it on Ebay..($36 including free shipping from Israel!) It makes loading the mags for my Grand Power K100 a breeze...they are a real bear to get round 9 and 10 in by hand. If you haven't tried one I'd highly recommend it.

Do you find you need it on certain .22 mags? I only have a Buck Mark in .22 and find I can compress the spring with the little button that slides down the outside of the mag and just drop the rounds in.

I use it on my S&W model 41 mags, and yes they also have that button but it is just way faster and a lot easier on my thumb using the loader then not using it.

In DVC range I asked a staff member if they are using them, and he told me that they are not using them because it's easier and faster to load by hand .

I cannot imagine how it is easier or faster, honestly . I am using this speedloader and I am more than happy with it. And it is especially useful if you need to load a lot (like hundreds or thousands rounds) in one session.

It's silly to think that it is an "amateur" way to load, it's just convenient. Glock sells their guns with some speedloaders, S&W, XD, IWI sell their guns in kits with UpLula speedloaders.

I find most of these accessories are nothing more than "Snake Oil." The Maglula isn't one of them. If I lost mine tomorrow, I would be replacing it tomorrow. This company should win an award.

I had to order mine from Brownells. I couldn't find a Canadian source.

One of the local gun stores had about a dozen .22 models last time I was in but no 9mm-45acp ones. They said they had no idea when or if they might get more stock (typical:rolleyes: ) The Ebay seller I used from Israel was great (ZAHAL Israeli Tactical). It shipped the next day and took less than 10 days to get here. It even went through customs with no HST being charged!

I raced a hand loader today, me and my Uplula and he whupped me fair and square. I'm not giving up my Uplula though, I love it and my old thumbs love it too!
