Maglula uplula

I can believe than somebody trained in loading magazines by hand can beat somebody loading it using speedloader. The questions are: 1) if both dudes are well trained, who's gonna win?, 2) are we here loading as fast as we can for survival, or just loading to get the job done?

Had the chance to use one last weekend. Fingers were faster but the Uplula was just so much easier, especially #9 and #10. Ordered one from CanAm. Rather expensive @ $40 but it shipped free with the ammo so :)

Do you find you need it on certain .22 mags? I only have a Buck Mark in .22 and find I can compress the spring with the little button that slides down the outside of the mag and just drop the rounds in.

The spring for the button on the Ruger Mark III (I have the 22/45) magazines is hard on the thumbs. SKS speed loaders (very simple and inexpensive) make it a breeze. Conversely the spring on my GSG 1911s is very easy on the thumbs.

My thumb would be hooped by 250 rounds with my CZ mags. Just drop them in and shoot, way better than doing thumb ninja training IMO. 10 on my CZ mags is by thumb only. ( I think 1 or 2 of them might get 10 in with the uplula.)
