Magnetic Sights - 870?

i have the set pictured. granted its on a vent rib shotgun - the rear site is clamped on the vent rib with screws, but the front site just has a recess that fits over your existing bead and a row of rare earth magnets that hold it on. its actually quite hard to get it off, and since the site itself is light as a feather its not going to fly off from recoil. i was very skeptical about them staying on, and was worried they would get knocked off in the bush or fly off from recoil, but so far they havent even budged.

they have ones for plain barrels - front site only though, IIRC. they look like this:

they work great, they come in a few sizes and colors of light pipes too.
they have a couple of plastic fingers to grip the sides of the vent-rib, when the magnets hold it on the fingers help it from sliding. great for trap or skeet shooting.

They clip on quite strongly. I had to work hard to take it off. They work like a charm. Worth every penny.
