Magnetospeed Question

I have the sporter magneto speed chronograph. I want to be able to mount it to a pistol with a picatinny rail. I know they make an adapter, but it states its for the V3 version. I am curious if anyone with the sporter has used the adapter with success? Thanks

I was looking into that same thing with the adapter. According to Magnetospeed website, it only works on the V3. Bummer.

I might take it in to where I got it and see if the adapter fits somehow. I will report back my findings

UPDATE----Took my chrony down to grouse river, the picatinny adapter doesn't fit up properly to the sporter version. It seems the construction between the 2 are different and I couldn't see any easy way to use the adapter on the sporter model. Hopefully they come out with an adapter for the sporter soon.

Thanks for the update. That sucks. You'd think they would release an adapter for rail mount unless they're really encouraging to jump to the model up.
