Magnum Primer's ?

I have a Q? .. I have a few hundred magnum primer's That I would like to use up, I would like to use them in My 35 Whelen ... How much would I reduce by? I haven't used Magnum primer's for reloading of non-magnum rifles. Any help would be great thanks

Ex: 55grns of a powder pushing a 225 grn bullet and the 250 grn bullet with 57 grns .... Do I reduce by 5% or 10%?

Powder used would be H4895 or IMR4895 and RL15 when I can get it.

Why? Primers are cheap, why not use the right ones?

Save the Magnum primers for Magnum loads.

shouldnt be a big problem, reduce a grain or two when switching to the magnum primer and work back up slowly. if you got a chronograph, even better
