Magnum Research .22magnum rifle any good?

My friend and I are considering buying a couple, just wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with these. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ive thought the same but a $1000 10/22, meh ill pass, although a semi .22 mag would be nice if it was a better platform

Great rifles. Very light and accurate with their tensioned carbon fibre barrels. Receivers, bolts, barrels are all made by magnum research. Only the trigger group is stock 10/22. That is my only gripe. But then again they are hundreds less that a Volquartsen Custom...

Shop around as dealers see, to have a wide range of pricing. Right now Calgary Shooting Centre has the composite thumb hole stock version in .22 LR for only $729. Best price I've seen in years. And the stock looks better in person than in pictures Not to mention it is surprisingly comfortable to shoot.

The .22 WMR ones seem a little harder to find and a bit more expensive. But the guys I know that own then do seem to love them.
