Yes, Brownells hits you hard with the shipping and handling. I've checked, and Freedom Arms will order them in. My gun is in 45-70, and is currently scoped with a 2-7 power scope. The gun is a tack driver with 250, 300, and 350gr jacketed, with 2" 100 yd groups. But hasn't liked hardcast at all. I've tried 350 & 450gr hardcast from bullet barn. The 350s were not accurate, and the 450s showed they were yawing badly, almost key holing.
I have TC's in 338sks, 375sks, and 444marlin, plus a Lone Eagle in 30-06, so have plenty of long range options. So wanted the bfr to be more of a short range boomer with heavy bullets.
Just tried Jethunters 485gr gas check bullets. They are medium hard, and the pistol loves them. Although I have to admit the loads are at the edge of what I can handle recoil wise.
Anyway, the scope doesn't make sense for a short range boomer, thus the search for good irons. Some idiot (that would be me) seems to have lost the original rear sight.lol
