Magpul 870 forend removal

Has anyone been able to take the magpul forend off of their grizzly?

Ive seen that those forends are extremely tight fitting on the grizzlys because the 870 has a narrower pipe (insert hank hill joke here) than the grizz so when installing it on a grizz people need to file it and sand it enough to fit.

And most people are lazy so they probably file and sand JUST enough to force it on and call it a day instead of taking off enough material to have a snug fit and not a permanent install lol

Edit: maybe try heating up the plastic to make it more flexible so it slides off the mag tube? Not with a torch but maybe leave it in an attic on a 35c day in the summer and see if that does it?

Yeah it was tight but I happened to hammer it on it ahaha. im not completely sold on putting my hogue back on. I need a sling plate or something to prevent me from shooting my hand off.

There is no problem with installation or removal Magpul from Grizly, just use heat gun, warm it up well and you are going to be amazed how easy it is.
