I think the orange looks good because the two-tone colouring with the black top helps disguise some of the stock's bulkiness
 
I handled one today and I must say it felt solid and pointed nicely.

It seems to be narrower than a standard stock but not enough to make a difference.

Sadly they did not have one to sell by itself :(
 
I could care less how ugly it is, if it works well I'm sold. I don't like a pistol grip on my shotgun and this looks like it might be a half way step between the original stock and a pistol grip stock.

Think I'm gonna have to order one up.
 
I got a chance to give on a good feel up today on a Rem 870 Magpul Tactical at Epps and if Magpul ever comes out with one for my Mossberg 590, it will be on my to get list. It sure does look weird but it fits me good. It has a thin pistol grip which I prefer on a combat shotgun.

I have the fore end on my 870, loving it so far.

I haven't ordered the buttstock yet...I want to get my hands on one to try before I commit to getting my own.

Not sure if I missed the post or not...but for those guys commenting on the orange stocks...those are typically used to identify less than lethal shotguns.
