Magpul AFG on M14

CGN is getting way too tacticool for my liking lol . I like a slim simple low drag rifle with a nice optic i hate the AFG and that funky new age scorpion Magpul shooting stance . heres a funny vid

Here is my offering to the OP question. Black AFG 2 on it, messed up and got the smaller one. Oh well, works great.

LOL funny vid.

Ya, the new way to hold long guns that was made famous by Magpul and other tacticool schools (actually originated from the competition circuit) definitely looks funny at first, especially to traditional shooters, and I always advocate one should shoot however they shoot best but if you use it properly, it does make a huge difference. It's exactly like Weaver VS isoceles for pistol... it's not right or wrong, just preference.

Well......here it goes.....i have purchased a 6" rail and a AFG2 in black. Going to mount it on my old USGI (OD). Im not into the different styles of holding your firearm (MAGPUL), but i do think it will be more comfortable to hold the forend stock at a 45 degrees instead of OEM position. I look at is this way, i have spent $70.00 on more meaningless things and i just want to find out if my gut instinct is right, in terms of comfort. Regardless, this is my rifle, there are none like it, and dammit, this one is MINE!! lol will post pics when completed if anyone is interested.
