Magpul and Brownells

I ordered the Magpul butt stock and fore end for my Remington 870 from Brownells and I have to say I am impressed with the fit and finish and the speedy and seamless service from Brownells. I just have to see how it feels when I fire it. I will be ordering from them again

If you are thinking about ordering something from Brownells (from Iowa in the US) I would suggest asking them if there are any export restrictions on the item you want.

How was the shipping time?
 
Shipping time was good but it did have to clear Canada Customs so that added to the time.

I haven't gotten to fire it yet (started a new job) and I don't have anywhere to shoot in Hamilton. I will post here as soon as I do (which I hope isn't long)
 
I bought the magpul 870 from a local store. I love the stock it came with the rem adaptor and pad not the stock magpul pad. I finally got to try the stock one and like it more.
I pre ordered a stock and forend in orange ages ago, with magpul moving out of state I doubt ill recieve it anytime soon. I want it for an 870 express I have. I have been thinking about ordering the fde set for my shorty for a 2 tone.
If you call them be careful on the phone they told me flat out i couldnt order the stock because it was more than 100 bucks. I told her it was holesale value, but she disagreed as i am not a dealer. Many people have ordered it from them. That aside, best customer service ever!
 
I was going to grab a stock from Brownells. Then I saw that Farmboy had them for a mere $15 more. OST got the sale. Least I can do is support a Canadian dealer for that price difference... No waiting on CBSA to process it either.

I'm very pleased with it. Nicest stock for the 870 going IMHO.
 
The only reason I buy my stuff from Brownells is because I have the Military discount witch makes a huge difference on some items.....

For 15$ its not worth it and I buy local...
 
Well played OST hahahaha. I sourced them out a bit, and sent a few emails to suppliers up here but they didn't have both fore stock and butt stock (I did not check out OST though). So Brownells got my money and will in the future...After I do a more thorough check of course.
