Magpul Art Of The Dynamic Shotgun

Just finished watching.

Good entertainment value.

Also - as someone who has yet to take any kind of shotgun course, this was VERY well put together and has ALREADY helped me better understand this weapons platform.

definately well worth the watch.. you learn so much little tips and tricks from watching them.. and even better if you have your firearm with you to do the drills as well minus the live fire. =)

Just picked this up myself...
Highly recommended!

Tons of great tips and tons of great drills/tactics in order to improve your shotgun game!

I thought it was a great intro for myself in to tactical shotgun. I'm looking forward to doing a tactical response course. Probably not this years as I don't have a pistol yet.

Just finished watching. Really enjoyed it.
I practiced a lot of the drills as I watched, now my neighbors probably think I'm nuts.
Can't wait to get out to the bush and try all my fancy new moves.:D

Edit to add...
I was just watching the Equipment and ammo special feature part, and Costa is demonstrating how to make a 'red neck slug'. Funny stuff. BTW does any one know the model of knife he is using it that scene? Looks like a Surefire but I'm not sure.

2 Thumbs UP for this instructional vid.

Very informative.

The exercises and various techniques are invaluable.

Get it and watch it over and over.

I imagine they square up to provide maximum plate coverage when training for two way range scenarios, also it allows you to move laterally very quickly.
In my experience short LOP stocks make squaring up a great deal more comfortable.

I watched the DVD too and I would like to make a simple error that they didn't cover, changing shells with a Mossberg. Not to be sounding nit-picky, but I tried following some of the techniques with my Mossberg 500 and I found out that you can't do a quick shell change like they showed you because of how different a Mossberg works compared to an 870. Besides that, it's a great training video and I'm only #####ing because I own a Mossberg

They show how to do it with a mossberg?
They call it "Surfing" the Round out of the chamber for slug change overs.

One of the students in the show was running a mossberg. They mention a few times that it has to be done differently.
