Anyone got theirs yet?

I really wanted to wait till the grey one became available, but couldn't help myself and pulled the trigger on a black one instead.

I haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet, but so far I like it. Very ergonomic, and I like the storage compartments.

Only thing I noticed is that the forend channel that the barrel sits in has a bit more space around the barrel on the left side.

What kind of carry bags are you guys using for this setup?

Are you using stock barrel or aftermarket? Could you post a pic ?

I got mine from Brownells, one thing I found while replacing stock, that front screw cannot be tighten all the way as it will not allow barrel to be attached.

This is good to know. What Denka is referring to is the takedown bolt for the receiver (I think). I had a similar issue with my first aftermarket stock for my 10/22 TD which was the Adaptive Tactical / Tacstar RM-4. Its strange to me how manufacturers can screw up something so simple as the depth of a hole in a stock. I ended up putting some washers in with my takedown bolt so that I could get it in tight yet still separate the two halves of the rifle. I ended up selling that stock since I found I wasn't a big fan of the collapsible stock and the ergonomics in general.

Really hoping to see some FDE or green X-22 backpacker stocks in Canada soon. I realize we're a smaller market than the US, but man it sucks having to wait this long for something so simple as a plastic stock in a different color.

I just received on on Friday and mounted it up today, Happy so far!

Mine was also crooked in the fore end channel but I simply applied a bit of pressure on the barrel and the takedown block shifted a bit so it's resting in the middle now.

For a bag I'm going to use a padded Karakal squash racket case..... fits perfectly even with a Bugbuster scope attached, and the case can still zip inside the original Ruger bag as well.

Right, good point, now hunt for such washers :)

Finally signed up for Imgur.... :)
Went to the range Monday night for a test run....... very happy with this stock! I bought my takedown during Wholesale's Christmas sale and figured the money I saved would go to a replacement stock....glad I waited!

I mounted the magpull rail as well but have not tried it yet..... not sure how well it will hold zero as there is some play between the takedown block and the barrel.... I think once the alignment is confirmed between the takedown block and the barrel where the barrel is centered in the handguard it might be worth bedding the block and using loctite on the bolts.

I also mounted a skinner peep, this required some file work to fit the dovetail and also some filling to fit the barrel contour and I had to shorten the forward part of the "beam" in front of the dovetail to make room for the magpul rail.
Sight picture is good, but the peep is a bit exposed when the gun is in it's storage position. Also Skinner does not do any detuning of the sharp edges after manufacturing so I need to knock off the sharp edges. I found a used Skateboard Truck pivot bushing in the misc department of the shop and am using that over top the peep when it's stored to avoid snagging in the bag. Works pretty good and I can store the bushing in the stock when using the gun.
The rear storage takes 3 ten round mags and if you put the first and last one in upside down from the recommended position they fit pretty tight.... the middle one needs to be placed as illustrated by the stampings in the plastic or the lid won't close. Waterproof storage in the grip is well done.
