Magpul Backpacker stock delivery time frame

Would love to see a side by side comparison. Interested to know what the length of pull is compared to the OEM stock, and if it will still fit in a 20” tool box.

That's great, glad to hear people are getting these now. Starting to wonder if holding out and placing an order for the ODG was a bad idea now that I know I could have had one in black in my hands already.

Hopefully one or two of you guys will post a review here, give me something to read over and ponder while I wait for mine to get here.

I haven't been to the range with it yet but from a function and feel standpoint I LOVE this thing. threw an mlok bipod on it, it breaks down and clicks together as expected. I'm 6'3" and have long arms and its pretty comfortable to shoulder. If you are on the fence just buy one you wont regret it.
 
Could you elaborate on the bipod you put on the stock? What did you attach it to? I'd love to add a bipod to mine as well, but haven't figured out how.

I don't have mine yet but I'm assuming there's no mlok slots on the bottom or else it wouldn't fit together in takedown configuration.

There are bipods that attach to mlok slots on either side. So it's two separate legs that you attach one to each side.

I think I understand how we're mixing things up. The Hunter X22 takedown has Mlok slots, the Backpacker X22 does not. Both are X22 takedown, but the backpacker is smaller.

The mixup is that this thread is about waiting on the PCC 9mm carbine version of the backpacker stock.

Thanks for the review! I’m trying to find one, not sure I’m feeling like paying for a backorder not knowing when I’ll get it…
 
Has anyone actually placed a backorder from RDSS? Just wondering if their 4-6 week estimate is accurate. I don't mind waiting but just want to know if it's a 2 month thing or a 6 month thing before paying.
