Magpul Backpacker stock delivery time frame

Unfortunately not. Only two parts in the package: stock and the riser which I initially took for the forearm. The looked sealed.

Despite the enormous pressure of last week, FOC managed to send me the missing forend. This is cool.
What's not so cool, is that the original Ruger screw seems too short to mount the forend!

This is the original screw with one turn on the thread and metal insert from Magpul forend.

And this is how the metal insert looks inside of the forend.

I think if I even file the insert a bit, it won't be enough. So should I look for the longer 12-24 screw?
Does anyone run into the same issue?
I guess I am just bad luck with Magpul...

Which ruger carbine do you have? The Magpul backpacker stock only works with the standard Ruger PC carbine locking block, as the chassis one has a different locking block that isn't compatible.

Other Specs
NOTE: The Magpul PC Backpacker Stock - Ruger® PC Carbine™ is compatible with all Ruger PC Carbine receivers in 9mm Luger and 40 S&W. Ruger models equipped with chassis and/or tubular handguards utilize a Modular Handguard Mount1 which will need to be replaced by the end user with a standard Takedown Block2 in order to mount the Magpul Forend.

The standard 9mm one, with back plastic stock and forend. I am really surprised by my bad luck, the quick i-net search didn't show anyone reported similar problems.
I found 10-24 1.5" screws on US amazon, and ordered some. Planning to replace the forend screw to the longer one.

Well, while waiting for longer bolts to arrive, I took another look at the forend and stock.

While in stock the metal inserts for the mounting are flush with the plastic inside and outside, in the forend it is protruding about 3-4 mm. I filed it down to make flush and was able to use the original length Ruger mounting bolt to secure the forend.
After all ordeal, I really like the stock and how PCC feels and handles with it.

Happy news for me, I just got an email from RDSC informing me that my ODG backpacker stock has shipped, so good news for anyone waiting on delivery from them as I have to assume that means they got a shipmemt in.
