I am still debating what I want to do for sights on my Norc Ar15. I don't want to remove the front sight because I want to be able to return it to stock without having to change to much. I am going to run optics of some sort but until then I have been wondering, if I remove the carry handle and put a magpul rear backup sight on the rail will it be high enough to use the standard A2 front sight ?

Yes, they are made to the same height as A2 front sights.

Although unfortunately you entirely destroy the resale value of the Norc M4 when you remove the carrying handle...

Dont really care about the resale value one bit. Just didnt want to remove the front sight on a gun i might be selling im the near future. I prefer to put my cash and time into my new toy. Hmm xcr or lmt AR

Front sight should work with magpul sight.. Many people on this forum use magpul sight on their norinco.

As Crosshair indicated, it will work fine with the fixed front sight. And the thing about resale value was in jest...
