Magpul CTR stock on Norinco CQa 14.5"

Has anyone put a Magpul CTR stock on one of these Norinco CQa 14.5" Carbines?

I picked one up in the commercial tube size but I found getting it on the tube seemed a little too big. I measured and the tube is 1.18" whereas normal spec for a commercial is 1.17" and a milspec 1.15".

Anyone else run into this? The Chinese strike again? If no solution I don't think hacking the 10 thou out of the stock will be too pretty. Replace the tube?

I put a CTR on my Norc and it fits just fine. Light grit sandpaper on the tube and stock?

I've got a Commercial CTR stock on my CQ-A went on without any issues. I'll try to get measurements of my tube later and post them, just need to find my caliper first.

All right might just have to wrap a dowel with some sandpaper and have a go. Its definitely tight I can't even slide it to the point to get past the detent.

I have to agree. Its never jammed, failed to fire or malfunction in any way over the 6-7 years that I've had it.
