Yup, I would say the same. It's probably one of our top selling items.

I would think one of the reasons for selling is they might already have a couple and are downsizing, or they want a wider stock. Some people prefer the thicker ACR's, STR's and B5 SOPMODs, etc. and go that route after trying the CTR/MOE
 
I think it's part of the "cool - cooler - coolest" loop - guys start with the CTR, then see someone else at the range with one, and look for a "cooler" one, etc. The CTR is a very good replacement for the base stock.
 
Many guys like to swap out black-fde-green.... and if you are like me, you swap stocks from time to time just for a different style/feel.
They are a very good stock (CTR is better than MOE), and they are reasonably priced.
 
Love my ctr but would prefer an ace, they all have their place I just wish I had enough guns to wear all the stocks I like.
 
Having had a Ctr on my rifle, I would buy another one without thinking twice. It looks good, is light, tight, strong and reasonably priced. The only reason I sold it was that I decided to part out a rifle to make room for another one.
 
I'd say it's a symptom of the fact that there is always a newer, shinier thing that will catch your eye. I love my setup, and won't trade out my ACS stock, but pretty much everything else is in danger of getting upgraded.

If you want the functionality of the CTR, but want storage and a REALLY nice cheek weld, take a hard look at the ACS or ACS-L
