Magpul CTR, worth the price ???

OK...so if one ordered the mil spec sized stock and one wanted it to fit....and thence discovered that one's rifle had the commercial sized receiver extension....what parts would you need to get to fit the with the mil spec stock? Obviously a new receiver extension, but do you need a new buffer spring etc? Thx.
 
Nope, just a buffer tube. But I would phone them for Magpul to see what they say. I think it should be a yellow piece of paper that says STOP in big letter's. I like how you can use these like a regular MOE stock or if you need to take a long range shoot you can lock it down good and tight for some steady shooting.
 
got my MOE stock a few days ago, I'm very pleased. may get another just for the heck of it. Any idea when the new magpul stocks & parts will hit the market? I would like to get an new ACR stock for a sniper project.
 
Brownells has DPMS mil-spec buffer tubes in stock for $39.99 right now.......just ordered two, and have recieved shipping confirmation :)

..................and now for the nay-sayers to say that it is impossible to import them :rolleyes:

Now is that just the tube or is it the mounting kit. i.e tube, buffer, recoil spring, receiver plate and CAR stock lock ring?
